Every birth is a unique experience and many unpredictable circumstances can arise. A Doula is a calm and reassuring birth companion there to help you and your partner navigate your birthing experience. We offer emotional support, physical support, guidance, birthing techniques, and pertinent information that allows clients the opportunity to make informed decisions about their birthing process. A few benefits of having a Doula include less surgical interventions (i.e. Cesarean sections), less use of pain medications, reduced stress levels, reduced risk for postpartum depression, and shorter delivery times. Think of a Doula as an extension of your support system, a person that you can rely on during a life changing experience, or someone on the frontlines making certain your birth experience goes as safely and smoothly as possible. Bringing life into this world is no easy feat. Doulas help to empower you to conquer what may seem like the impossible.
